I feel like the next month or so is going to fly by – in about two weeks I leave for my trip to Europe, including a stop at Disneyland Paris! I’ll be running the inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon. I’m both excited and nervous for my trip. I feel like I still have so much to do, and I’m stressing about not speaking French. But I am looking forward to Disneyland Paris and sharing all about it with you when I get back!
Disney News
- A new attraction will be coming to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park! Called “Miss Fortune Falls,” it is described as a family-style raft attraction that will open in spring 2017.
- The Main Street Electrical Parade will be shown for the last time on October 9th because it moves to Disneyland.
- It seems after 17 years, Disney realized that Steven Tyler was making an inapporpriate hand gesture in the film before Rockin’ Roller Coaster. They’ve now removed it.
- Disney will start running buses from the theme parks to Disney Springs from 4pm to 11pm. This makes it much easier to get there if you want to try one of the great Disney Springs restaurants for dinner! However it’s a one way deal, so there will not be buses running from Disney Springs back to the theme parks.
Rumors
Parades // Because Disney has announced that the Main Street Electrical Parade will be moving to Disneyland and Paint the Night will no longer happen there, a lot of speculation has been going on that Paint the Night will be coming to Disney World.
Attractions // Stitch’s Great Escape has never been a favorite around the parks, so many people have hypothesized about what could go there instead. The latest rumor is that a Wreck-It Ralph attraction will be taking its place.
Disneyland // Sprinkles cupcake shop has been massively popular over in Disney Springs in Florida – so now the rumor is that there will be a Sprinkles coming to Downtown Disney in California too!
Animal Kingdom // The Jungle Book show is set to end next week, which has rumors circulating that Rivers of Light could finally be on its way back and ready to debut. Speculation says perhaps we’ll see it in October or November.
